Add the MyCheck address in your AI app, sign in, and choose what it may do. It takes about a minute.
“Make me a checklist for my green card interview and save it to MyCheck.” The app asks you to confirm before it saves anything.
The checklist is in your account on the web and on your phone, with reminders, ready to tick off.

What it will never do
Immigration paperwork is not ordinary data, so the limits are built into the server rather than left to the AI app to respect.
- Publish anything. A checklist saved from a chat is private to you.
- Receive your conversation. Only the checklist you asked to save is sent.
- Read a checklist attached to a USCIS case. Those are out of reach of every AI app.
- Show a full receipt number. Receipt numbers, A-numbers and tracking numbers are masked.
- Add or change a case. Cases are yours to add inside MyCheck.
Setting it up
Once per app, on a computer. Everything you have to type into the other app is copyable below.
ChatGPT
Needs a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise), and the connector has to be added on a computer, in a web browser.
- Open ChatGPT on a computer and go to Settings.
- Under Security and login, turn on Developer mode.
- Open Plugins, click +, and choose to create one.
- Paste the MyCheck address and pick OAuth for authentication.
- Sign in with your MyCheck account and press Allow.
- Start a new chat and ask it to save a checklist.
The plugin's own panel says “No app actions available yet” until the sign-in is finished — that is not a fault, ChatGPT only fetches the tool list after you press Allow. It also asks you to confirm every save, and “remember” applies to that conversation only.
Claude
Works on every plan, including Free, which keeps one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds it for the organization first, then each person connects their own MyCheck account.
- Open Claude on the web or in the desktop app.
- Go to Customize, then Connectors.
- Click +, then Add custom connector.
- Paste the MyCheck address and click Add.
- Sign in with your MyCheck account and press Allow.
- In a chat, switch MyCheck on from the + menu under Connectors, then ask away.
Claude reaches MyCheck from Anthropic's servers rather than your computer, so it works the same in the desktop app as on the web. Connectors are switched on per conversation from the + menu.

What you see when you connect
The app sends you to mycheck.co to sign in — it never sees your MyCheck password. The page names the app asking, shows a Verified app badge for ChatGPT and Claude, and lists exactly three permissions, each of which you can untick before you agree:
- Save checklists to your MyCheck account
- See your checklists — never the ones linked to a USCIS case
- See the status of the USCIS cases you track in MyCheck
Afterwards every connected app is listed in Settings with what it may do and when it was last used, and a Disconnect button that takes effect immediately. Changing your password disconnects all of them.

If something goes wrong
- “This connection link isn’t valid”
- The sign-in page refused something the app sent. Tell us which app and when — that message means the problem is on our side, and we would rather hear it than have you retry.
- The app connects but never saves anything
- Check that “Save checklists” was left ticked on the permission page, and that the free limit of 3 checklists at a time is not already full.
- It cannot see a checklist you know exists
- Checklists linked to a USCIS case are deliberately hidden from every AI app. That one is only in MyCheck itself.
- You want it to stop
- Disconnect it in Settings. It stops immediately, and the checklists it saved stay in your account.
